She Told the New Chief to Get Out

Alicia takes office as the new chief of Metro Public General Hospital. In the cafeteria, she is shoved by Zoe, an intern working under her husband, Orthopedics Chief Ethan. Spotting Zoe wearing Ethan’s supposedly lost necklace, Alicia uncovers his blatant betrayal. Despite public exposure, Ethan stubbornly shields his mistress. An investigation reveals Zoe padded credentials, lacks clinical skills, and nearly caused a fatal blunder. Stripped of his title for power abuse, an unremorseful Ethan blames Alicia and conspires with Zoe to launch a smear campaign, tampering with medical charts and endangering patients. Cutting ties, Alicia partners with oversight boards and law enforcement to strike back. Ultimately, Ethan lands behind bars, Zoe loses her license and faces prosecution, and Alicia firmly cements her authority, protecting the hospital as an empowered, independent leader.
