The Girl Who Could Hear Animals

Six-year-old Lily is blind, but she can hear animals’ thoughts. After her beloved grandfather dies, she suffers abuse at the hands of her adoptive parents, Karen and Travis, relying on her loyal golden retriever, Buddy, to guide her. One day, she saves Richard Ashford, CEO of the Ashford Group, from a sudden heart attack and receives twenty times the standard compensation for the compulsory purchase of her home. Her greedy adoptive mother tries to cash in by selling the house and resorting to extortion, but her schemes are exposed. Richard then discovers that Lily is the granddaughter he lost in a car accident six years ago, and that Ethan is her biological father. After being kidnapped by Vanessa and seeing Buddy gravely injured, Lily finally returns to the Ashford family and regains her sight. Together with her grandfather, her father, and Buddy, she heads to the seaside to begin a new life.
