After giving birth, Claire Miller plans to stay home briefly before moving into a postpartum care center. But her in-laws, Vivian Dawson and Bruce Carter, and brother-in-law Ryan Carter move in, claiming to help while doing nothing. Claire is treated like a servant, even losing the nourishing soup she made to Ryan. Her husband, Evan Carter, lets his family take her savings for his brother’s new car.
